Witness a rare astronomical event through high-powered telescopes at West LA College. In February 2025, the seven planets joining Earth in our solar system will be visible all at once in the night sky as they get arranged in an extraordinary pattern called a “great planetary alignment," or in a more celebratory expression, a "planet parade."  Open to all. Sat, Mar 8: Microforest Planting Day

Join us for this fun, hands-in-the-dirt planting event that will yield a microforest of trees and plants native to the region for students, staff and the community to enjoy year-round. This is a family-friendly event, all ages welcome.  Free with RSVP
