Climate Action Palooza - Oct 24 - 26

  • All events are free with an RSVP
  • OCT 24: High School Day   |   OCT 25: Professional Conference
  • SAT, OCT 26: Circular Communities Fair: A vibrant, family-friendly event focused on how we can produce and consume in ways that combat climate change, minimize waste, and maximize joy! Live music, food, booths, raffles, and fun activities for all ages, including a Halloween costume swap, face painting,  art & more.
     

Explore Climate & Landscaping Careers: Oct 8 @ 10:00am

  • Explore climate and landscaping careers and take a tour of WLAC’s latest landscaping projects. The first 100 students can enjoy breakfast, grab a goodie bag, and enter exciting raffles. Meet at the outdoor Piano Lounge next to the Library.
     

Grocery Giveaway Days – Oct 3 & 17:

  • Students can pick up a bag or two of free groceries at the Wildcat Den on Sept 26 & Oct 3 from 12:00 to 3:00. The Den is located on the first floor of the CE building facing the SC building. Don’t forget to bring a couple of bags.

Wins

  • Volleyball secured their first win of the season beating LA Pierce in three straight sets.
  • Women's Soccer started conference play with a shut out 6-0 win over Antelope Valley.
  • Football is off to a strong start winning two straight games at home and Bryant Collins was named SCFA Offensive Player of the Week

  • Parking: It's free for the 1st two weeks. Then you'll need a semester parking pass ($27) or day pass ($2) which you can purchase in the parking lots. OR, catch the Culver Bus #3 or #4 to campus. Free Metro ITAP cards available for students in the Welcome Center (TLC 1st Floor)
  • Food: Cafe West (SSB 1st Floor) Mon - Thur 8:00 - 2:30; Bookstore Mon - Thur 9:00 - 4:00, Fri 9:00 - 1:00; PAWs Mon - Thur 12:00 - 7:00, Fri 9:00 - 1:00; Vending Machines outside Library facing Wildcat Walkway 
  • Payment Plan for Fees: Students can now use a no-interest payment plan to pay fees using smaller payments over several weeks
