Time to file your 2024-2025 FAFSA!
Financial aid is made available by federal and state governments and private sources in the form of grants, scholarships, employment, and loans. This assistance makes it possible for students to continue their education beyond high school, even if they and/or their family cannot meet the full cost of the college they choose to attend.
5 Steps to Apply for Financial Aid
1. Apply Online
Students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at:
- Studentaid.gov (students with Social Security number)
- Dream.csac.ca.gov (students without Social Security number)

2. Wait 1 Week for Processing
Check for emails from FAFSA, CSAC, and WLAC.
3. View your To-Do List
Visit your Student Information System (SIS) Portal to see whats next.
4. Submit Forms Online
Submit any requested documentation / information at wlac.studentforms.com
All documents must be completed before your file can be reviewed by the Financial Aid office. Forms can be submitted via computer or smart phone.
5. View your Awards
Once your file review is completed, check the SIS portal for your awards.

Tuition & Fees
WLAC remains one of the most affordable college nationwide. To determine a student's financial need, the financial aid office will take into consideration the student's cost of attendance and expected family contribution (see Cost of Attendance table). Fees may be paid online via the Student Information System.
NOTE: Fees are subject to change by the CA Legislature.
