WLAC remains one of the most affordable college nationwide. To determine a student's financial need, the financial aid office will take into consideration the student's cost of attendance and expected family contribution (see Cost of Attendance table below). For more details on fees, see the college catalog. Fees may be paid online via the Student Information System.

NOTE: Fees are are subject to change by the CA Legislature.


ENROLLMENT & TUITION FEES

Because WLAC is a public college, we can keep tuition low and quality high. All fees subject to change by the California Legislature

 

 

Effective Fall 2018

CA Resident

CA Resident Enrollment Fees $46  per unit
Additional Enrollment Fees for the Dental Hygiene Bachelors' Degree Program $84  per unit

Non-Resident

Non-Resident Enrollment & Tuition Fees $46   per unit
All non-resident students must pay $46 per unit enrollment fee in addition to Non-Resident Tuition & Capital Outlay Fee (NRTCOF) $251 per unit for all units

International Students

All non-resident students must pay $46 per unit enrollment fee in addition to Non-Resident Tuition and Capital Outlay Fee.
Studying from OUTSIDE the U.S.

$46  per unit enrollment fee

$251  per unit tuition for all units 

$50 Application Fee

International Students With an F-1 Visa studying ON CAMPUS 

$46  per unit enrollment fee

$251  per unit tuition for all units

$50  Application Fee

$25  SEVIS Processing Fee

$708  Insurance Fall or Spring
(6 month period of coverage)

 

OTHER FEES

  • ASO Fee: Fall or Spring $7.00; Winter or Summer $3.00
  • Student Representation Fee: $1.00
  • Health Fee: Fall or Spring $11.00; Winter or Summer $8.00
  • Parking Pass: Fall or Spring $27.00 Preferred Parking (includes ASO Fee & Other Perks) $20.00 Regular Parking; Winter or Summer $10.00

 

Fee Waivers ($0 Tuition!), Scholarships, Federal & State Grants, and Low Interest Loans are Available.

Cost of Attendance Table

The cost of attendance is based on the Student Expenses and Resources Survey (SEARS) data and updated for three years of inflation using the estimated California Consumer Price Index.

 

The financial aid office may also add the following to a student's cost of attendance, if applicable:

  • Out of State Non-Resident Fee: $251 per unit (in addition to the $46 per unit fee)

  • Foreign Citizen Non-Resident Tuition for International Students studying from outside the U.S.: $251 per unit (in addition to the $46 per unit fee) + $50 Application Fee

  • Foreign Citizen Non-Resident Tuition for International Students with an F-1 Visa.: $251 per unit for all units + $46 per unit enrollment fee +  $50 Application Fee +  $25 SEVIS Processing Fee + $708 Insurance Fall/Spring (6 month coverage)

  • Child Care cost: $1,000 annually

  • Euipment and Fees: $7,000 (for students accepted into the Dental Hygiene Bachelors' Degree Program)
