Returning Students Can Qualify for Other $0 Tuition Programs

Returning community college students enrolled full-time who are in good academic standing are also eligible. A returning community college student is defined as having been absent from any higher education enrollment for two or more consecutive primary semesters/quarters. Students must also be California residents or otherwise eligible for California in-state resident tuition (AB 540).

To Qualify for West LA College Promise:

1. Apply to your LACCD College of Choice at http://laccd.edu/apply.

     --Once you complete the application you will receive an email with your LACCD Student ID. If you do not receive this email in 2-3 days, please email @email.

     --If you are a returning LACCD student, you will need to update your application by logging into your CCCApply Account and renewing your application with your LACCD college of choice.

2. Use this link to complete LACP Interest Form (link) or use the QR code below.

3. Complete the FAFSA OR Dream App Application (for AB 540 students).

     --FAFSA Application (best for students with a Social Security Number)

     --California Dream Act Application (best for students without a Social Security Number)

4. Complete Orientation and Counseling. You will be contacted via email with instructions about next steps. If you are a returning community college student and have already completed Orientation you do not need to do it again, but you do need to see a Counselor to receive an updated educational plan.
