The West Los Angeles College Foundation currently consists of an 11-member board of directors with 5 subcommittees: Fundraising, Scholarship & Faculty Grants, Events, Nomination, and Marketing.

 

The Foundation meets once every calendar quarter and operates on a Fiscal Year July 1 – June 30. Subcommittees meet every month. Board meetings are open to the general public.  The Foundation is now expanding membership of the Board. Interested parties may contact the Foundation President at:  presidentwlacfoundation.org  to request a Nomination Packet.


Current Board Priorities Are Four-Fold:

  • Promote the advantages and benefits of a West Los Angeles College education with area business, corporations, individuals, and philanthropic foundations
  • Augment membership in the Foundation Board
  • Increase annual support for scholarships and faculty development
  • Expand membership in the West Los Angeles College Foundation Alumni & Friends Association
  • Steward existing donors
  • Create a sponsorship base for public events
  • Secure major funding for West Los Angeles College Foundation’s Case for Support
