Overview
The Outreach and Recruitment Office helps high school students, their parents/guardians and counselors understand the educational opportunities available at West Los Angeles College.
We focus on:
- Increasing awareness of the academic programs and support services available at West
- Helping high school students enroll in FREE college classes (Dual/Concurrent Enrollment)
- Helping high school seniors successfully transition to West and apply for FREE tuition through LA College Promise
Initiatives
Workshops & Presentations
We facilitate "About West" presentations and application workshops. Presentations provide an overview of WLAC and include additional information on specific programs (LA College Promise ($0 Tuition) Program, LMU-West Business Scholars Program, Academic Programs, Support Services and more). Workshops are focused on helping students apply to WLAC.

We attend college fairs, college expos, and other school/community events to inform the public about all of the great things that are happening at West.
