Westside Extension offers 8-hour traffic
violator school classes for your traffic ticket. Our classes are
held generally once a month on Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Call our office for exact dates. Note: We are required to monitor
your time in traffic school, so you must be on time for class or you will
not be allowed to take it. Classes are held on the West Los
Angeles College campus. (The exact classroom will be given out upon
registration.) The price of WLAC Traffic School is $35, which
includes the cost of the certificate. Our regular instructors are Miguel Mejia
and Sgt. Lee Powell of the Los Angeles Police Department. You must bring to class your driver's
license and court paperwork. We recommend you also bring a sack
lunch.
Westside Extension accepts cash,
checks, money
orders (payable to WLAC Community Services)
or Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card. You
may register in advance through Westside Extension or on the day of the
class. If you wish to register the day of class, you need to come to
our office in the PEC South Building lobby by 8 a.m. to be
registered so that we can get you to class on time.
Notes: WLAC Traffic school does not offer
12-hour traffic school or traffic school for youths under age 18. If you
received a ticket outside of Los Angeles county, you will likely need to
attend a CTSI approved traffic school. WLAC Traffic School is not
CTSI approved. WLAC does not offer driving school. Instruction is
taught in English.
Call (310) 287-4475 for exact class dates
and other registration information.
