Hospital Billing |
|
Hospitals hire the majority of billers, pay
well, and have great training and advancement opportunities. This class
acquaints you with billing for hospitals and nursing homes, hospices, home
health care and outpatient surgery centers. Get familiar with Volume III of
the ICD 9; learn to complete UB-92s and process both outpatient and
inpatient claims. Find out how to handle crossover claims involving multiple
carriers – Sue will teach you in what order to process, and what rates to
use, including the complexities of billing Medicare. Also learn appeals and
rebilling of rejected and denied reimbursements. Bring your ICD/9, vol. 3
and CPT. Prerequisites: ICD & CPT Coding. *$25 material fee payable to
