Transfer Honors Program
TRANSFER HONORS PROGRAM
Transfer Honors Students receive priority admissions consideration to selected prestigious four-year institutions including University of California at Los Angeles, Irvine, Riverside, Santa Cruz, CSU Fullerton, Azusa Pacific Univ., LMU Pomona, Occidental, Chapman and other alliance institutions.

NEW SELECTION CRITERIA REQUIREMENTS
FOR FALL 2013
For continuing WEST student:
Be eligible for English 101
Completed 12 transferable college units
Min. GPA fo 3.2 or higher
*For entry of High School Graduates:
Min. GPA 3.2
Eligible for English 101 by assessment or AP Scores

TO REMAIN IN THE THE HONORS PROGRAM
Students must do the following to remain in the program:
- Complete English 101 within the first year of the program
- Maintain at least 3.2 GPA in all transfer course work
- Honors Courses must be completed w/an "A" or "B"
- Enroll in at least 1 or 2 courses w/a Honors component per semester
- Meet with Transfer Honors Counselor each semester
- Complete min. 15 hours of documented Volunteer/Community Service
- Attend 2 verified Transfer Workshops during the year
- Meet with 2 University Representative on Campus during academic year
TO COMPLETE THE HONORS PROGRAM
Students must do the following to complete the program:
- Complete a min. of 18 Transfer Honors units at WEST, consisting of 5 or 6 designated "Honors Courses"
- Complete a 200 Level Math Course
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in all course work
- Complete and file an application for admissions to your intended transfer University when appropriate
