HEALTH 11 – PRINCIPLES OF HEALTHFUL LIVING

Course Description: This course implements the World Health Organization's (WHO) definition of health that Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease. In this course, you will gain knowledge and learn principle to function and adapt to healthy living. Some of the topics covered in this course include fitness, nutrition, cancer, cardiovascular disease, alcohol, tobacco, sexuality, drugs, infectious diseases and healthy aging. Required Materials: Health: The Basics, 7th ed. by Rebecca Donatelle
