ETUDES Classic Technical Requirements

General Information:

This is an 8-Week class starting 1/2/2007, ending 2/24/2007. This course takes place entirely online. No on-campus visits are required. 

The course begins on January 2.  Students who do not login or email the instructor by January 5 will be dropped.

Course Description:

Prerequisite: Completion of English 21 with a grade of “C” or better or appropriate placement level demonstrated through the English assessment process for English 28.This course meets the AA reading and writing requirement.

English 28 students practice in paragraph construction and essay writing, with an emphasis on critical thinking and critical reading of non-fiction essays and books.

Required Materials:

Nickel and Dimed by Ehrenreich, Barbara, 2001.

A Writer’s Reference by Diana Hacker, 6th edition.
