General Information:

This is a 6-Week class starting 1/2/2007, ending 2/10/2007. This course takes place entirely online. No on-campus visits are required. 

The course begins on January 2.  Students who do not login or email the instructor by January 5 will be dropped.

Course Description:

This course is designed for students interested in learning about health care careers, including work descriptions, work environment, employment opportunities, educational requirements, and earnings. Students will also learn about the health care system in the United States, including the development of medicine and trends in financing.

Introduction to the Health Professions, 4th Edition by Peggy Stanfield and Y.H. Hui. Publisher: Jones and Bartlett Publishers, ISBN #0-7637-0049-5.
