Course Description:

A survey of musical practices and styles from the earliest times to 1750, including the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and the Baroque periods. The artistic philosophy of each style period is explored. NOTE: Music History and Literature I is not a prerequisite to Music History and Literature II.
