This course takes place entirely online. No on-campus visits are required. 

The course begins on July 2.  You must access the course by July 10 or you will be dropped

Course Description:

Prerequisite: English 101 or equivalent.

This course introduces the student to the basic elements of writing fiction, poetry and drama through reading and writing assignments.

Required Materials:

The Art of Fiction, by Gardner

The Poet's Companion, by Addonizio and Laux
