ETUDES-NG Technical Requirements

General Information:

This course takes place entirely online. No on-campus visits are required. 

The course begins on February 12.  You must access the course by February 20 or you will be dropped.

Course Description:

Prerequisite: English 101 with a grade of "C" or better.

This course, which meets the transfer critical thinking requirement, is designed to develop critical thinking, reading, and writing skills beyond the level achieved in English 101. The course will focus on the development of logical reasoning and analytical and argumentative writing skills.

Required Materials:

All texts are online; all but two are free. The two texts that are not free are newspaper articles that students will purchase for $3.95.

All students will use Diana Hacker online--via Bedford and OWLs.
