Whatever you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now."

Out of State Students

In order to enroll out of state students in an online course West Los Angeles College’s (West) Distance Learning Program must obtain approval from each online student’s home state. The West Distance Education Program must also meet all State and Federal requirements.

If you are planning to enroll in an online course and you reside outside of California, please select on the state in which you currently reside and review its current status, including any special requirements, which may exist for your academic program of interest. If West cannot currently provide distance learning courses in your state, or if your program of interest is excluded, please check back as the information changes often.

Important Note for Prospective Students:

If you are considering an academic program that leads to a professional license in your state, it is strongly recommended that you first seek guidance from the appropriate licensing agency in your home state prior to beginning the academic program located outside your state.
