Course Description:

This class focuses on one-to-one and small group communication. This course will develop an awareness of the difference between effective and ineffective communication in professional, social and personal contexts. Areas studied include defensive vs. supportive communication; self concept; self disclosure; nonverbal communication; listening; assertiveness, submissiveness, aggressiveness; conflict and its resolution.
