SPEECH 151 – SMALL GROUP COMMUNICATION
General Information: This course takes place entirely online. No on-campus visits are required. This is an 8-Week
session starting 4/17/06 and ending on 6/10/06. Students who do not email instructor by April 21st will be dropped.
Course Description: This course provides an analysis of the purposes, principles and types of discussions. Emphasis is placed on developing skills to assume roles of leadership and active participation. Creative decision making, groupthink, the nature of power, conflict management, anger management and problem solving are explored. Required Materials: Communicating
