Technical Requirements

General Information:

This course takes place entirely online. No on-campus visits are required except for the on-campus orientation session which will take place in the Winlock Lounge on the 2nd Floor of the HLRC from 10 - 11:30 am or 6 - 7:30 pm on Tuesday., February 14th, 2006.

The course begins on February 13th. You must access the course by February 19th.

Students who do not email instructor by February 19th will be dropped.

Course Description:

Note: History 11 is not a prerequisite for History 12.

Note: Attendance at the on-campus orientation session is required. The orientation will take place in the Winlock Lounge on the 2nd Floor of the HLRC from 10 - 11:30 am or 6 - 7:30 pm on Tuesday., February 14th, 2006.

A survey of political, economic, cultural and foreign policy aspects of the American nation from Reconstruction to the present day.

Required Materials:

The American Nation (Volume Two) A History of the U.S. since 1865, 12th Ed. by Mark C. Carnes and John A. Garrity, Pearson, ISBN: 032131634-7.
