ENGLISH 21 – ENGLISH FUNDAMENTALS
General Information: This
course takes place entirely online. No on-campus visits are required.
Students who do not email instructor by February 19th will be dropped.
Course Description: Prerequisite: Taking the English Assessment Test for appropriate placement. Co-requisite: All English 21 students must also enroll in a section Learning Skills 50 which requires 1½ hours of lab work (TBA) each week (Section #1376). English 21 is a reading and writing course that gives students practice in developing clear compositions as they respond to a variety of reading materials. Required Materials: Meaty, Mobile and Map Paragraphs by Nuala Lincke-Ivic. (Photocopied grammar/mechanics and composition packet that will be in the WLAC bookstore before class begins.)
