General Information:

This course takes place entirely online. No on-campus visits are required. 

This is an 8-Week session starting, 4/17/06 and ending on 6/10/06.

The course begins on April 17th.  You must access the course by April 21st.

Course Description:

Prerequisite: Completion of English 28 with a grade of "C" or better or appropriate placement level demonstrated through the English assessment process.

In English 101 you will develop argument and research essays, learn critical research skills, and critique a novel. This course will expose you to a variety of cultural arguments in advertising, newspapers, periodicals, and the Internet, and prepare you to interact critically with them.
