ACCOUNTING 2 – INTRODUCTORY ACCOUNTING 2
General Information: This
course takes place entirely online. No on-campus visits are required.
Students who do not email instructor by June 24 will be dropped.
Course Description: Prerequisite: Accounting 1 or Accounting 21 and 22 with a grade of "C" or better. Accounting principles and procedures relating to partnerships and corporations, accounting for manufacturing, cost accounting, branch and departmental accounting, interpretation of financial statements, supplementary statements, data processing and management controls are covered. This course is acceptable for Management 1B credit at UCLA. Required Materials: Accounting
(Chapters 1 - 26) by Horngren, Harrison and Bamber; Sixth Edition, Recommended Materials: Optional Working Papers: Accounting. Course Requirements: This course can be completed independently online by reading the text material, reading online class notes, completing the assignments, and verifying your results with solution material. There will also be an online group project. Two midterms and the final exam will be online. Grading Policy:
