Welcome to Academic Hurdlers
The Academic Hurdlers Program was developed and implemented by the Matriculation Program Fall 07 term as an effort extending from the Follow-up Component of the West Los Angeles College Matriculation Plan. The program and follow-up activities will continue into the Spring 2008 term.
A student Needs Assessment was distributed in every class asking students to detail their needs (see below)

Student Call:
Students were called to come in for counseling and receive information and concerning academic programs and services at West Los Angeles College.
Resource and Referral Center:
Students are invited to come by the Resource and Referral Center and speak with a Student Ambassador about their needs, questions, and concerns to get one-on-one assistance.
