West Los Angeles college has an open admissions policy. We welcome any student who is either a high school graduate or at least 18 years old and able to benefit from instruction. We also have programs for those under 18, whether or not you are a high school graduate. By applying to West, you become part of the Los Angeles Community College District, the largest district in the U.S.

The Class Schedule tells you when classes meet, who the instructor will be, whether the class is online or on campus.
You can add classes, manage your schedule or check your grades on the Student Information System (ID required).

Student Success @West West awards more than 600 degrees and certificates annually in 39 different fields. West sends more than 300 transfer students to four year colleges and many West Associate degree and Certificate program graduates begin professional employment immediately after graduation in consumer education, engineering and industrial technologies, law and health.
Financial Aid West Los Angeles College offers programs to assist students who need financial assistance to cover the cost of attending college. Students who are pursuing either a Certificate, an Associate degree, or planning to Transfer to a four-year university should contact the Financial Aid Office for more information. Financial aid programs include grants, loans, work study, fee waivers and scholarships.
