GRADUATE RECEPTION 2014:

Students will be invited to a lunch reception starting at 2:30pm on graduation day. Light refreshments will be served on a first come first served basis. There will be entertainment and photo opportunities. You may invite family and friends.

Students may petition to graduate with an AA or AS Degree and petition for Certificates of Achievement for the Spring semester according to the published deadlines in the academic calendar.  Students must file within the deadlines to be invited to our commencement ceremony and be listed in Commencement Program.

OTHER GRADUATION INFORMATION:

In order to graduate, you need to petition, it is not automatic. Petition deadlines are listed in the schedule of classes and online in the academic calendar. Certificate of Achievement candidates may petition at any time during the year using a Certificate Petition; however, the deadline for Spring certificate petitions must be the same as the graduation petition deadline in order to invite everyone in a timely manner.

Letters inviting students to the graduation ceremony typically go out by the first week of May; therefore, it is important that you let the Evaluation Office know of any address or name changes. Most questions regarding the graduation ceremony can be found in the Guide for Graduates.
