ART EXHIBITION - thru May 15

Art Exhibition - Thru May 15  | M-Th   10aa - 4:00pm  |  FA100

"Another Run Along The Path or When Dada Meets I-Ching"

The Artwork of Michael McCall - This exhibition is two fold: the work is based on the artist's study of and research into the I-Ching (a.k.a. The Book of Changes).

It also explores Mysticism, Art History, Information Systems, Labyrinths and Mazes, combining these with McCall's acute sense of humor, in presenting a paridoxically calm and dizzying exhibition.

Closing Party   | 7:00 - 10:00pm  |  FA100

Los Puros performing Cuban music - dancing shoes optional.

WEST IS 3RD IN THE NATION IN RECYCLEMANIA

RecycleMania is a friendly competition among college and university recycling programs in the United States that provides the campus community with a fun, proactive activity in waste reduction. Over a 10-week period, campuses compete in different contests to see which institution can collect the largest amount of recyclables per capita, the largest amount of total recyclables, the least amount of trash per capita, or have the highest recycling rate.

West took 3rd in the nation competing against other 2- and 4-year colleges in the Corrugated Cardboard - Partial Campus category.  Learn more at http://www.recyclemaniacs.org/viewresult.aspx?CompId=6&isSubsection=Fals  (Select "Partial Campus")
