ORDER YOUR COMMENCEMENT REGALIA

 

The Bookstore is now taking orders for Commencement regalia rentals. 

 

Orders placed by May 1:  Bachelor - $15; Master - $25; Doctor - $35

 

Orders placed after May 1:  Bachelor - $30; Master - $54; Doctor - $75

Regalia will be available for pick up by June 8.  The Bookstore will remain open until 8:00 pm after the Commencement ceremony to accept returns.

 

WEST LEADS DISTRICT IN RECYCLEMANIA

In the last few weeks of the competition, West LA is a leader in the district, but we still need to make that extra push to get to the top.  Keep up the good work!  A clean West L.A. College is our goal!

Put on your shades, because West LA's going solar!  Thanks to the solar panels on the new parking structure, at 9 am, the morning sun is helping us generate 160 kilowatt-hours of power. 

 

 

FACULTY / STAFF LUNCH YOGA

 

Starting April 16, and meeting every Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 pm in FA 104 (except the 3rd Thursday of the month) Nancy Sander will teach a beginner/restorative yoga class for faculty and staff only.  Students should wear loose, comfortable clothing, and should refrain from eating before class.  No shoes or socks please.
