DEADLINE COMING

If you're not passing your class and you are considering withdrawing from it, the last day to do so with a "W" is FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 18 (for traditional 16-week classes).

While a "W" on your transcripts is often better than an "F", you should consult with your instructor before deciding. Also, check with financial aid about the impact on your assistance package.

MORE NEWS

alumnusThe Dickinson Press recently profiled Football alumnus Tray Boone. After helping lead local Narbonne High School to its first city title he came to West where he split time at wide receiver and running back, totaling 1,600 yards of offense. From West, he caught the attention of Dickson State (N.D.). While at Dickinson, a play he made even made it into ESPN’s Top 10. Of his time there, Boone said, “It's peaceful. I like it…The chance to play football, that's great. But the chance to get my degree, to get this piece of paper that's going to really set my life in the direction I want to go; that's probably the best thing I'm getting out of this situation. That's what I wanted. I'm more than thankful for it."…see story at http://www.thedickinsonpress.com/sports/blue-hawks/4120602-long-road-glory-dsus-boone-chased-football-la-dickinson#.V-NdIiyewAI.facebook
