PARTICIPATE IN THE OFRENDA

OfrendaThe Hispanic Heritage Committee invites you to take part in their Ofrenda at the Hispanic Heritage Celebration on October 31. The Ofrenda will be between CE and HLRC. Day of the Dead is a celebration in Mexico and many Latin American countries where the dead return to earth for 24-hours to be with their loved ones. One tradition is the Ofrenda - an alter with refreshments, personal items and various things that welcome the souls. Communities set up Ofrendas dedicated to various people, celebrities, important historical figures or societal issues. | If you'd like to participate in West's community Ofrenda, drop off a copy of a picture of a departed loved one.
