FREE WINTER STUDY PROGRAM

Jan 4 - Feb 1

 

"Freedom School" is open to all WLAC students at no cost. Classes will meet Jan. 4 - Feb 1 on campus in CE 220 & CE 221 from 11:00am - 2:00pm.

 

This is a peer-to-peer curriculum which includes presentations, studies, tutoring and group activities to better prepare students to succeed at West. The first week schedule is:

Jan 4: Ice Breaker & Math Tutoring

Jan 5: Conspiracy Corner & Art/Drawing; 

Jan 6: Messages in Media & Math Tutoring

IMPORTANT

 

SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS

STUDENT EMAIL

LACCD, of which West is a part, will assign emails to all students. Communications from the college, including Financial Aid, will begin to be sent exclusively to the LACCD email account. Student may forward their LACCD email to any other email they own. Watch for more information over the coming months.

 

 

 

NEW ONLINE CLASS SCHEDULE

Mid-January, West plans to go live with an upgraded online class schedule. The upgrade will allow students roll over sections to see the course description. Additionally, students can use a new online planning grid.
