WEST PROGRAM IN THE NEWS

The Los Angeles Wave recognized a successful partnership between the Black Business Association (BBA) and West. The partnership created a 12-week Business Entrepreneur Training course that is open to the community and West students. Two successful graduates of the program were profiled. One has a thriving beverage catering business. The other became a luxury handbag designer who's bag was photographed with actress Wendy Raquel Robinson at a shoot for Kouture magazine.

September 19 Update

This Tuesday, Sept. 20th, the Accreditation Steering Committee meets to consider the input/feedback received on the draft responses.  We continue to refine the drafts, verifying documentation and evidence to support our self study.  The timeline specifies Monday, October 3rd for a final draft to be posted at the webpage at  http://www.wlac.edu/accreditation/index.html, read, discussed and signed off by all college constituencies in October.  Please join us in ensuring that West’s accreditation is re-affirmed for our students.
