LAW ENFORCEMENT RELATED SCHOLARSHIP

The Hispanic American Police Command Officers Association provides scholarships from $1000 to $1500 for students with a career goal with a nexus to Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice or Forensics.  Applications are due August 5, 2008.

Student Alondra Mims (left) and other WLAC students earlier participated an MPI Future Leaders Summit at West Los Angeles College, where she was awarded all-expense paid attendance at the MPISCC Weekend Education Conference, at the Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona. Mims left her career in health care to pursue a new passion for travel. She now looks forward to graduating with her AA Degree in Travel and Hospitality.
