The WLAC second annual Tech Fair showcase how technology is used in the classroom, online, and hybrid environment to enhance student success and encourage student learning.

The Fair will have presentations on ways to incorporate technology into education and teaching. All sessions are open to faculty and staff who are able to attend. Faculty can file for Flex Credit for attending workshops. Watch for the Tech Fair brochure with the workshop schedule in your mailboxes. The Fair is made possible in part by the Title V Cooperative and Title V grants.

ORDER YOUR GRADUATION REGALIA

The Bookstore is now taking orders for regalia rental for Graduation. Prices will remain the same for orders placed by May 1^st. Doctor is $35.00, Master is $25.00 and Bachelor (mortar board and gown) is $15.00. On May 2^nd prices go up to $75.00, $54.00 and $30.00 respectively and we will be unable to fill any order placed after May 15^th. Regalia will be available for pick up in the Bookstore June 2, however, you may wait to pick it up the day of Graduation. As a convenience we will remain open after the ceremony to accept returns.

NEW PSYCHOLOGY DEPT DISCIPLINE CHAIR

The new BHSS Division Vice Chair and Psychology Department Discipline chair is Dr. Carri Canales.

CONDOLENCES

Our sympathies go out to Helen Burnett in the Office of Admissions. Her mother died on March 31.

Former LACC Associate Dean Earl Walter died recently. He was with the college from 1982-1997. Services were held last week.
