An Active Shooter Lockdown Drill conducted by the Sheriff will be held on Wed, Sept 25 in and around the ATA Building. The drill will begin prior to noon. Students, faculty and staff in the drill zone should find a safe location out of sight and away from windows. If possible, secure yourself behind locked doors. Remain quiet. Listen for and follow instructions from clearly identified emergency personnel.
A campuswide text and email regarding the drill and an all-clear will be sent. Your cooperation in this important activity is appreciated.

By registering for the new Microsoft self-service password reset service, students will be able to reset their Student Portal password without help from IT if they'd like to change the password or if they forget it.
Registering takes less than 3 minutes!
- Go to MyCollege.laccd.edu and log in with your current information
- Click on the “email” link
- Follow the prompts and enter an alternate personal email address and/or a mobile phone number.
- Then click “Finished.”
The current reset system where a student can answer 5 questions will be retired at the end of 2019.

At about the 3 minute mark of being interviewed on MSNBC regarding the sentencing of Felicity Huffman in the USC Admissions Scandal, Sara Goldrick-Rab suggested that instead of jail time, Felicity Huffman should be ordered to pay $100 Million to LACCD to help our students...see video
