BECOMING SCIENTISTS:
Following Footsteps, Blazing Trails

The STEM Scholars program invite all to "Becoming Scientists:  Following Footsteps, Blazing Trails" presented by WLAC Prof. Bonnie Ellen Blustein, Ph.D.
FRI, SEPT 26 | 10:00AM | MSA 005

Since pre-historic times, people everywhere have observed the natural world, made conjectures about it, and tested those conjectures in practice.  As societies stratified and work became more specialized, some people became SCIENTISTS...presentation will feature stories of a dozen professional scientists who lived and worked in the late-nineteenth and twentieth-century United States.
