Yes, this program has been approved by the California Board of Dental Examiners.
What is the Bachelor’s Degree Equivalence?
If you have an AA or AS and 120 units of college coursework, this is considered an equivalence to the Bachelor’s degree.
Will I be able to have a private practice?
Yes, you can be a sole-proprietor, hire other rdhap hygienists.
As part of the program you will be asked to research areas identified by the Federal Government as underserved areas in the state of California.
As an RDHAP you can set up your own practice in those areas.
Will I be prepared for the state written exam?
The curriculum was developed in accordance with state regulations, and with emphasis in the topic areas in the examination.
Do you have access to the state exam or samples of the exam?
No, to date no one in the state has access to this information.
Is there another program?
No, to date no other programs have been approved.
Do the program fees have to be paid all at once?
Yes. We are working on getting credit card payment procedures in place.
