RDHAP PROGRAM OVERVIEW

West's 150-hour RDHAP program is the first and most widely-recognized program of its kind in California. It is approved by the Dental Board of California and the Committee of Dental Auxiliaries. This program prepares registered dental hygienists to become licensed to operate a private practice providing dental hygiene services in homes, schools, residential facilities, and underserved areas.

The California State RDHAP written licensing exam is offered to participants on West's campus at the completion of the program. Since the RDHAP program's inception, 100% of our program participants have passed this written exam on their first try.

To learn more about the RDHAP program for dental hygienist professionals, attend the RDHAP PROGRAM on October 24, 2009, at 9am. Tuition is $45 and participants receive 3 hours of CE credit.  On the afternoons following the Symposium we hold an RDHAP BUSINESS PLANNING EVENT to provide hands-on, practical education to operate a successful RDHAP practice. Tuition is $300 and applicable towards tuition in the RDHAP program.  Participants receive 2 hours of CE credit. Click here for a information packet on these events.
