Featured Faculty Member: Professor Gwen-Marie Thomas

Her life's motto: "The greatest failure in life is not to try!"

Her trademark is her impeccable style of dress, accented with rich colors. Her reputation for caring is well known, as are her high expectations for her students. Professor Gwen Marie Thomas is something else.

Professor teaches the Introduction to Business, Business English, Business Communications, Management, Small Business Management, Organizational
Behavior and Principles of Marketing. She is currently teaching
Business I and Management I online (hybrid) classes.

A 33 year veteran, she has taught at West for the past 18 years. She graduated from West Los Angeles College and CA State University, Dominquez Hills. Professor Thomas is active in these organizations: AACT, Los Angeles World Council, Business Educators Association (National and International) West Angeles Church World
Mission, Los Angeles African American Women Political Action Committee,
WLAC UMOJA Advisory Member, and the Schomberg Society.
