Online College - English
The ability to communicate ideas to the world, to read carefully, to receive information, to evaluate the written word and to analyze it critically, prepares English majors to make informed choices, to prioritize their goals, and to absorb knowledge. These life skills launch those who study English off to successful futures, while it improves their performance in other classes.
English majors traditionally go on to pursue careers in law, advertising, publishing, editing, marketing, higher education, communications, journalism, and technical, business and creative writing. However, there is no career path closed to an English major. In fact, many professional schools accept English majors in an effort to have well-rounded students who can communicate effectively with the public.
