What West Has to Offer
Committed to Student Athletes
Our quality coaches and programs will challenge your skills and help you improve as a student and an athlete. Academics are the number one priority of our department with an eye on graduation and transfer to a four-year college or university following a successful career at West.
Academic Support & Medical Staff
We provide outstanding student-athlete support systems with academic guidance from a full time athletic-academic counselor. In addition, our staff includes two full-time equipment and facilities attendants, and eligibility clerk, and an athletic department secretary. Student-athletes' sport medicine needs are handled by a National Athletic Trainers Association certified athletic trainer and several student trainers as well as a group of team medical doctors from Kerlan-Jobe, a renowned LA orthopaedic group.
Outstanding Facilities
Our facilities include three quality strength training locations and a rehabilitation room connected to the sports medicine area. A gym with one full size basketball/volleyball court that can reconfigured to two smaller basketball courts or three full size volleyball courts. Also, we have a nine lane all-weather Mondo track with field events area, a sports turf football/soccer field and a separate natural grass baseball field and soccer/practice field.
It's great to be a Wildcat!
